I am on ongoing retaliation discriminations, harassments and bullying or gasligthed etc etc since the day one of the onboarding process by my employer when I was very vocal and truthful in my Voice of Associate Surveys of the past 8 years. I told them honestly what were going on and described these missteps flaws and unlawful and illegal actions based of my own opinions and visual observations of the upper management but then I received several adverse severe effects such as demotions while under FMLA LOA, restraining order too, been intimidated, coerced and threatened by the Store Manager/s to call the police on me if ever I raise up my tone of voice and do not leave the store building asap' etc. These were tiny parts of a larger parts of a a Greater MOSAIC PUZZLE. On the other hand, after 6 to 7 years since 2015, I gave all these to the Lord but then I realized that God gave me the wisdom to becable to discern these tons of mosaic pieces and now these subtle retaliations various inhospitable and despicable acts done to me under the shadows of total darkness were all illuminated by God with His very strong, sharp, laser collimated beam of LIGHT from above. I later realized that all of these were protected activities and I belong to a protected class and has protected CHARACTERISTICS, too. A supervisor of a cheap lousy lawfirm that I paid on a subscription basis was amazed at me why, after 3 to 4 years, I have NOT BEEN fired yet from my job! I politely replied to her that that was such a very uneducated question she just asked me. A brilliant employment lawyer should not be taken by surprised and nothing shoukd surprise her if after battling my case to my HR and upper level management for that long period of time had kept me on my employment still. She got so extremely upset when I told her that I am going to use my due diligence to ask a 'discovery phase' about her at the Texas Bar Association and to find out any unethical complaints lodged against her. So then she asked me if I am going to file a lawsuit against her. I told her nope. Obviously, she was not so brilliant and did not really know the difference between filing a lawsuit vs asking a discovery phase. I was told that a panel of lawyers will gonna review my case and to decide on me on a revelation whether it is worth to keep me or not into my legal membership. Unfortunately, I got an email or a letter in the mail that I cannot use anymore my membership and they were willing to REFUND ME ONE MONTH OF MY MEMBERSHIP FEES; BUT NOT TO BE ABLE TO BE RENEW NOR ABLE TO BE REINSTATED FOREVER. PERIOD.

6:40 You mentioned that people put DL instead of California Driver's License? Upon reading the handbook, I believe it says that we CAN use abbreviations. www.uscis.gov/book/export/html/59502 "You may use either common abbreviations for states, document titles or issuing authorities, such as “DL” for driver’s license and “SSA” for Social Security Administration. Appendix A provides more abbreviation suggestions." I was curious if I misunderstood what you meant at the 6:40 mark?

Yes, if you have employees for whom you are missing a Form I-9, have them complete a Form I-9 now on the current form. When completing the hire date in Section 2, use the original hire date. When dating the I-9 next to the signature, use the current date. Do not backdate. It is better to have an I-9 that was completed late than not to have one at all. :) If the employee was hired before Nov 1986 you do not need a Form I-9.

For new hires only, unless the existing employee doesn't have an I9 on file. If you have employees for whom you are missing a Form I-9, have them complete a Form I-9 now on the current form.
